Corporate social responsibility

Like a growing number of our customers, we pride ourselves on being a responsible, committed company that gives back to our local communities and follows a set of business ethics we believe in. We have a number of corporate social responsibility (CSR) programmes at levels from local to global.

World-wide, the Edenred  Group Earth Guest programme encompasses a range of sustainable development initiatives to minimise our impact on the environment and local communities. We also work with charity Plan International to help children around the world.

We’re constantly supporting and improving efforts to reduce our carbon footprint, recycle more efficiently, improve energy efficiency and source suppliers with sustainable ways of working.

CSR at Edenred UK

We believe that CSR involves understanding our impact on all our stakeholders: our employees, customers, end users, partners, local communities and the environment. Our CSR activities are owned and driven by all our employees – not a directive from above.

We’re committed to ensuring that responsible business practices are integral to our culture, as we believe that acting responsibly and sensitively and being motivated to make a difference is complimentary to commercial success – not contradictory.

 

We have been officially recognised with an ISO 14001 accreditation for our commitment to reducing the environmental footprint of our business, and to decresing the pollution and waste the business produces.  Achieving the ISO 14001 standard is another step towards fully meeting our CSR commitment.

 

In May 2010 we launched Compliments Green, the UK's first fully integrated ethical incentives and rewards solution in partnership with Green Rewards.  Compliments Green can be incorporated within any existing employee, channel partner or customer incentive programme or as a new stand alone scheme used as a basis for encouraging 'greener' behaviour.
