New prepaid payroll card

Accor Services is launching Premium, a new Prepaid Payroll card to take away the expense and hassle associated with paying employees by cheque or cash.

Premium allows the business to transfer an individual�s salary directly onto the card via BACS / CHAPs, and provides the user with a convenient way to access their money.

For organisations who have full time, part time or temporary employees who are currently paid by cash or cheque, Premium brings huge benefits for the business and their workforce.

For employers:

Payroll systems can be harmonised for all employees enabling the same process to be used for all employees.
Cost savings resulting from removal of cheque processing and the time taken up by cheque and cash payments.
Increase employee retention.

For employees:

Employees no longer have the cost or hassle factor associated with cashing cheques.
Immediate access to their salary.
Can use card anywhere accepting Mastercard.

New engagement white paper

Employee engagement is the subject of a new white paper recently published by Accor Services. The paper brings together two major pieces of research, which aim to help organisations get a deeper understanding of what drives employee engagement.

It includes the findings of research conducted by Ipsos Mori amongst 1200 employees, focusing on their job satisfaction, sense of involvement and pride in the organisation and perceptions of the rewards and benefits on offer to them. A second research study surveyed more than 430 UK employers about the role employee engagement plays in their business success and the methods they used to build an engaged workforce.
