Discover how our partner Epassi helps you support employees with health assessments and gym memberships

On July 24 every year the World Health Organisation (WHO) celebrates its annual Self-Care Day - culminating a month of activity that raises awareness about self-care and the benefits it brings to people’s lives.

WHO defines self-care as individuals, families and communities promoting and maintaining their own health and wellbeing and preventing disease.

It’s a concept that’s well supported in the UK by organisations from both the private and public sector as a foundation for the wellness of their employees.

At Reward Gateway | Edenred, we fully back this approach and wholeheartedly support employers that extend it into the UK workforce.

It’s well known that people who embrace their wellbeing and take care of themselves are happier and more secure personal lives - and as a result, are more productive at work too.

So at this time of year its apt that we share how our public and private sector customers can pass on the health check and fitness benefits provided by our partner Epassi

Epassi HealthiFlex

The Epassi offering includes HealthiFlex, a salary deduction scheme which offers employees and their partners discounts on in-clinic or at-home health assessments.

Discounts of up to 50% are available, and employees can choose from 1,400+ clinics nationwide from leading health assessment providers

Assessments cover cancer risk, cholesterol, diabetes, intolerance, allergies, menopause and more. Plus, tests are designed to suit all budgets, locations and health needs.

Epassi GymFlex

Of course it's important to think not just about health check assessments, but also fitness schemes that improve mental and physical wellbeing and can help to stop come conditions from occurring in the first place.

To this end, Epassi also offers GymFlex, another salary deduction scheme that offers employees and their partners discounts on 12-month gym memberships.

Employees get discounts of up to 40% on gym memberships, plus a choice of 3,800+ fitness facilities from top UK fitness chains, local authority leisure centres and independents. In other words, something for everyone, regardless of budget, location or preference.

Both Epassi schemes are employer paid and reclaimed via salary deductions.

So this Self Care Day, take a moment to consider how you can extend these benefits within your own organisation - both for the good of your employees and the organisation as a whole.
